The Katsina State Contributory Health Management Agency (KACHMA) has announced that citizens can now enrol in the state health insurance scheme using their KRID number through the iKatsina portal.
The scheme covers primary and secondary healthcare services at accredited facilities across all 34 LGAs. Beneficiaries receive a health card linked to their digital identity.
As of this announcement, over 500,000 Katsina residents have been enrolled, with the state government targeting 2 million enrolments by the end of the year.
Residents can enrol by visiting portal.katsina.gov.ng, logging in with their KRID, and selecting the Health Scheme option under Services.
