The Katsina State Governor, Dr. Dikko Umar Radda, today officially commissioned the iKatsina Digital Public Infrastructure platform in a landmark ceremony attended by all 34 Local Government Area chairmen.
The platform enables every Katsina resident to obtain a Katsina Resident Identity (KRID) number, which serves as a universal identifier for accessing government services including health insurance, land registration, scholarships, and building permits.
Speaking at the launch, the Governor noted that iKatsina represents a major step toward transparent and efficient governance, reducing bureaucracy and bringing services closer to the people.
The platform is now live at portal.katsina.gov.ng and citizens can begin their registration immediately at any of the 34 LGA registration centres or online.
